Youngsters made their long awaited return to Galloway Cricket Club on Saturday.
The easing of lockdown restrictions meant coaching for kids could resume at the grounds in Gatehouse’s Cally Woods.
And during the course of the day, nearly 40 youngsters were put through their socially distanced paces by development officer Howie Bradley, whose role is funded by The Holywood Trust.
On Sunday it was the turn of the adults although they were there to carry out maintenance rather than enjoy a day’s play.
The club will be running cricket camps on Wednesday’s during the Easter holidays.
