Gabriel Martinelli could be in line to make his first Premier League appearance since the end of January this afternoon when Arsenal face West Ham United.
The Gunners go into the game having lost 1-0 on Thursday night in their Europa League last-16 second leg tie against Olympiacos, but they still emerged victorious on aggregate to reach the quarter-final.
And this afternoon Arsenal will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League following last weekend's impressive 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby.
Martinelli was a surprise absentee from the squad a week ago, making it seven games since he last featured in the top-flight of English football - the goalless draw with Manchester United on January 30.
But the Brazilian did make an appearance off the bench against Olympiacos in midweek and managed to catch the eye in a nine-minute cameo in which he almost claimed an assist for captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Looking ahead to the game at the London Stadium, it would appear that Martinelli will be in the Arsenal matchday squad to face the Hammers at the very least.
That's if his social media activity is anything to go by.
Taking to Instagram, the teenager has done his best to hype up the big game in east London by uploading an Arsenal post to his stories that looked back at the corresponding fixture from last season.
Despite trailing at half-time, the Gunners hit back to win 3-1 with Martinelli getting the ball rolling with the equaliser which was also his first Premier League goal.
Could history repeat itself this afternoon?
Well, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta did reveal this week that Martinelli does need to be patient for an opportunity given the wealth of attacking options at his disposal.
"If anything it's my fault," said Arteta in his pre-match press conference ahead of Thursday's Europa League tie against Olympiacos.
"He's done everything perfect. He trains incredibly well every day. His attitude couldn't be better.
"He's really disappointed that he's not playing more obviously having spoken to him, but he needs to be a little bit patient."
