Fury vs Wilder fight purse: How much will each boxer earn from heavyweight fight?

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are just days away from stepping into the ring in one of the biggest fights of the year.

"The Gipsy King" is challenging WBC heavyweight champion Wilder in just his third fight back following a 32-month layoff.

The pair will face each other at the Staples Center, Los Angeles on Saturday December 1 with Fury aiming to capture the only boxing title that has so far eluded him.

With the fight being touted as one of the biggest of the year, expectation is high and both fighters are set to earn eye-watering amounts from it.

How much will Tyson Fury earn from the fight?

Fury is reportedly expected to earn around £8million from the fight - or $10.25 million.

It is the most he has ever earned in his boxing career and dwarfs the amount he received for fighting Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

The money is is expected to increase when the pay-per-view revenues are taken into account as well.

But he says he plans to give his entire fight purse to the poor and says the money is the last thing on his mind.

The Manchester fighter claims he has used that perception to “trick” Wilder into accepting the fight while also insisting a reported £8m fight purse is the last thing on his mind.

“They think I’ve just come here to pick up a few quid,” Fury told talkSPORT. “But I couldn’t care less about the money. I don’t have much use for it.

“I’m planning to give it all away to the poor and for building houses for the homeless. I will probably wind up like all the other boxers down the years. Skint.”

How much will Deontay Wilder earn from the fight?

American Wilder is reportedly set to pocket a cool £10.94 million - or $14 million - from fighting Manchester Fury.

It is the eight time 33-year-old Wilder has defended his title, and he boasts an impressive 40-0 professional records, with 39 knockouts.

Again Wilder will earn more once his cut of the pay-per-view revenue is taken into account.
