On January 17, all council schools and nurseries, including Fairview Special School, will be closed.

The action from Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS), Scottish Secondary Teachers Association (SSTA) and NASUWT comes as members seek an improvement on the Scottish Government’s minimum 6.85 per cent pay rise.
