Funeral details announced for Drogheda gang feud shooting victim Keith Branigan

The funeral of Drogheda gang feud shooting victim Keith Branigan will take place on Thursday morning, it has been announced.

Keith was shot dead last week as he carried out work at his mobile home at the Ashling Holiday Park in Clogherhead, Co Louth.

The victim, who had married in December, was hit five times and died at the scene.

And his family have now revealed that the 29-year-old will be laid to rest following a funeral mass at the Holy Family Church in the Ballsgrove area of Drogheda.

The service will take place at 11am on Thursday, followed by his burial in Calvary Cemetery.

A post on RIP.ie reads: "Sadly missed by his loving wife, Ma, sisters Sarah Jane and Caitlin, nieces Ruby and Jessica, nephews Krue and Joe, Nana Rose, mother-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Barry and Andrew, sisters-in-law Ruth and Michelle, Sarah Jane’s partner Anthony, dad Ants, grandparents Jermiah and Kathleen, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

"Reposing at his Ma's home, Grove Road, Ballsgrove from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock tomorrow Wednesday.

"Removal on Thursday morning at 10.40am arriving to Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. House private on Thursday morning."
