Funeral date set for little girl, 2, who died in Ingoldmells caravan fire

Details for the funeral of a two-year-old girl who died in a caravan fire in Ingoldmells have been set.

Louisiana-Brooke Broadley will be laid to rest in her hometown of Newark.

The funeral will take place on Monday, September 27, at St Mary Magdalene Church, Church Walk, from 11am.

The girl's mother, Natasha Broadley, and her three older siblings survived the blaze at Sealands Caravan Park on Monday, August 23, after being treated in hospital.

Ms Broadley said on her Facebook: "Not what I thought in a million years that I would be writing, but my precious baby girl's funeral is on September 27 at 11am at the parish church in Newark,"

"Anyone is welcome to come, as all the love and support for me and my children and family has been unbelievable. The colour theme is pink or lemon for my baby girl. Thank you so much, big hugs from me. There will be no children allowed."

The investigation into the fire is currently still ongoing.

On Saturday, September 11, a procession of illuminated vans and lorries drove through Skegness and Ingoldmells in a touching tribute to Louisiana-Brooke.
