Full list of items including meat and veg being recalled from Dunnes Stores, M&S and other Irish shops

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has recalled a number of products in recent days, including meat, vegetables and sauces.

Customers have been warned not to consume any of the implicated batches while retailers have been told to remove the products from shelves and issue point of sale notices in stores.

Some products are being recalled due to incorrect labelling while others contain harmful bacteria and substances.

Below are all of the recall notices issued by the FSAI over the past week:

Dunnes Stores Smoky BBQ Irish Pork Ribs

Dunnes Stores Smoky BBQ Irish Pork Ribs being recalled (FSAI)

These Dunnes Stores brand Smoky BBQ Irish pork ribs are being recalled due to the back label being incorrect.

The product contains barley but this information is not printed on the label.

This means the batch is unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten (barley).

The affected batch has a use-by date of May 13, 2022 and the approval number is IE 538 EC.

Green Box Limited Cendawan Enoki Mushroom

Green Box Limited Cendawan Enoki Mushroom being recalled (FSAI)

This product is being recalled due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected batch is 2022114640 and the Item Code is C00.

Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.

The FSAI said that Listeria monocytogenes infection symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.

In rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications. Pregnant women, babies, and people with weakened immune systems, including the elderly are more vulnerable to the infection.

The incubation period (time between initial infection and first symptoms appearing) is on average 3 weeks but can range between 3 and 70 days.

TRS Ground Cumin Jeera Powder

TRS Ground Cumin Jeera Powder being recalled (FSAI)

This product is being recalled due to "elevated levels of pesticide residues, and the detection of unauthorised pesticides which are not permitted for use in foods sold in the EU".

The affected batch has a best before date of 30/04/2023.

Hugold CBD Oil Products

Hugold CBD Oils being recalled (FSAI)

Hugold CBD Oils are being recalled due to "the presence of unsafe levels of delta‐9‐tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)".

Revolution Ragu Sauce

The implicated batches of Revolution Ragu may contain cereals containing gluten (wheat, barley, oats and rye) which are components of the yeast extract ingredient.

These cereals are not declared on the list of ingredients of some batches of Revolution Ragu, which may make the affected batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten (wheat, barley, oats and rye).

The affected batches are 370g and all batches that do not declare wheat, barley, oats and rye.

Chongqing Instant Noodles Sour Hot Flavour

Chongqing Instant Noodles Sour Hot Flavour being recalled (FSAI)

This product is being recalled as milk is not declared on the ingredients list, which may make it unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk.

All batches and all best before dates are implicated.

Zine All4Trade Bulgur Coarse Brown

Zine All4Trade Bulgur Coarse Brown being recalled (FSAI)

The Zine All4Trade Bulgur Coarse Brown with pack size 800g and best before date of 10/2022 is being recalled.

Wheat is undeclared in the affected may make it unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten (wheat).

Marks and Spencer chicken products

Some Marks and Spencer chicken products are being recalled due to the possible presence of salmonella.

Ten products are being recalled, including sandwiches, wraps and salads.

The FSAI warned that people infected with Salmonella typically develop symptoms between 12 and 36 hours after infection, but this can range between 6 and 72 hours.

"The most common symptom is diarrhoea, which can sometimes be bloody," the FSAI said.

"Other symptoms may include fever, headache and abdominal cramps. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days.

"Diarrhoea can occasionally be severe enough to require hospital admission. The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have more severe illness."
