The countdown is on! One of Liverpool’s favourite festivals is returning to the city this weekend.
Positive Vibration Festival of Reggae 2021 is set to take place at the iconic Baltic Triangle on Friday and Saturday.
It will feature artists and DJs playing sounds from across a range of genres including reggae, roots, dub, jungle and drum 'n' bass.
This year's event has been described as 'one of their biggest years so far', and its line-up includes General Levy, Congo Natty and Gentleman’s Dub Club.
The festival is being split up into six different performance areas including Camp and Furnace and Hangar 34, providing guests with a wide range of reggae acts around every corner.
Launched in 2016, the festival has quickly become a firm favourite for not only music lovers but also families as it has activities for all ages to enjoy, including dub poetry, dance, capoeira, drumming and movement, arts and crafts, screen-printing and beatboxing.
Each year it hosts a reggae Q+A which aims to look at the impact of the genre on British culture and society as it brings together panels of voices within reggae and the music industry to share their experiences and insights.
British film director Don Letts is set to make an appearance at this year's event, as an exclusive stop on his much-anticipated book tour.

After giving a reading of his book, the 'Rebel Dread', he will answer questions about his life and career, sign books and perform one of his legendary DJ sets.
A 'Jamdown Market' will host traders offering a diverse selection of food, drink, records, clothes, arts and crafts, jewellery, health and well-being.
The event will run from 5pm to 3am on Friday and 12pm to 3am on Saturday, with weekend tickets priced at £66.25 including a booking fee.
Children and teenagers can attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian - and it is important to note they have been given a 9pm curfew. Those under 12-years-old will be granted free entry.
