From wardrobe malfunctions to epic falls: The most unforgettable Dancing On Ice moments

Dancing on Ice has seen some unforgettable moments since it first came to TV screens 16 years ago.

This weekend Brendan Cole and skating partner Vanessa Bauer, Kimberly Wyatt and Mark Hanretty, and Regan Gascoigne and partner Karina Manta will all compete to win the 2022 series.

So in celebration of the show coming to an end for another year, the most memorable scenes have been gathered together.

From tumbles on the rink to fall outs with the judges - here are some of the show's most hilarious highlights.

David Seaman

Cast your minds back to the first ever series of Dancing on Ice, when former England goalkeeper David Seaman attempted to pull off the infamous headbanger move.

Unluckily for his partner Pam O'Connor, the attempt went horribly wrong as, ‘not so safe hands’ Seaman dropped his partner onto the ice. O’Connor was then rushed to hospital and had to have stitches in her chin.

Joe Pasquale

Comedian Joe Pasquale outstayed his welcome on the show in 2013 with his shocking skating skills.

Joe’s partner was Vicky Ogden and the pair surprisingly kept making it through to the next week.

At one point Joe even fell flat on his face during his routine to Flash, but that wasn’t enough to eliminate him.

Tim Healy

Former Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner was infamous for his harsh critics and argumentative nature.

However, in 2011 after a heavily criticised performance from Denise Welch, her then-husband Tim Healy surprised everyone when he took it upon himself to confront the controversial judge.

“She’s 52 and she’s got four jobs”, Tim told him, as he got up close and personal with Jason, while Denise ordered him to sit down, which made for hilarious TV gold.

Pamela Anderson

Hollywood star Pamela Anderson suffered a hysterical stumble and a wardrobe malfunction as she became the first celebrity to be axed from her season of Dancing on Ice.

Although she had performed strongly in her first dance earlier in the evening, her second dance was ruined by her dress issue resulting in her early elimination.

Gemma Collins

The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins ’ entire time on the show was pretty unforgettable, but we certainly won’t forget the time that she brutally fell flat on her face whilst dancing to the famous ballad by Celine Dion.

Despite the blunder, she got back up and carried on with her partner.

Waiting to get her scores Gemma bursts into tears after the fall expecting to get low marks from the judges.

Todd Carty

One of the most hilarious moments to ever happen on Dancing on Ice was when Todd Carty fully lost control of himself during his performance.

While skating with his professional partner Susie Lipanova, the duo took on a routine to The Beatles song ‘Help’.

As the song is titled, Todd really did need some help, as he spiralled out of control and ended up skating back through the tunnel backstage, which safe to say was not part of the plan.
