From body positivity to birthday messages - Naked celebs who love to make a point

Ulrika Jonsson, 54, took inspiration from an unlikely source earlier this week as she stripped off in her garden to pay homage to Kendall Jenner's sexy sunbathing snap.

The reality TV star's saucy photoshoot comes in the wake of her rumoured split Devin Booker - with Ulrika dubbing the image shared to social media a 'break up post' and going on to copy the model with her own defiant nude shoot.

Neither Ulrika or The Kardashians star, 26, are the first female celebrities to strip off and send a message.

From baring all in order to wish Reese Witherspoon a happy birthday to going nude online to celebrate having control over their body once again, we take a look at all the stars who flash the flesh to make a point.

Miley Cyrus

Whether it's formal photoshoots or social media snaps, former Disney star Miley Cyrus has posed nude several times throughout her career.

The singer, 29, has previously explained how publishing her own naked snaps means there's not much left for others to "catch" her doing.

"I don't really stress too much about being out there. There's nothing left to catch me doing," she stated to Marie Claire in 2015. "You want to hack my e-mail so you can find my nude pictures? I'll just f**king put them up."

Miley has also stressed that just because she is comfortable in her body doesn't mean she can't also be a great role model for young women.

"Because I got my tits out before doesn’t make me less of a role model," the Wrecking Ball singer told Harper's Bazaar in 2017. "I think I show people that they can be themselves."

Chelsea Handler

As a comedian Chelsea Handler is all about making people laugh via both her quick wit and sometimes, her naked body.

The funny woman has admitted she's more likely to strip off to get a laugh rather than get people aroused.

In 2016 the former talk-show host bared to celebrate Reese Witherspoon's birthday - wishing the Oscar-winning actress all the best in the form of a nude snap shared to her Instagram page.

"Happy Birthday @reesewitherspoon," the comic wrote as she posed in front of a mirror wearing nothing but a pair of knee-high black socks

"I think nudity is funny, as long as you are doing something silly," Chelsea has previously told Harper's Bazaar.

"I always try to make my pictures silly and funny. I am not lying on a bed trying to lure someone inside of me."

Britney Spears

Since regaining control of her life last year - following the end of a controversial 13-year conservatorship - Britney Spears has been stripping off online on a regular basis.

The recently-married star, 41, often takes to her Instagra m page to share her sexy snaps, with nothing more than strategically-placed emojis hiding her modesty from her millions of followers.

Many fans have a theory that Britney is keen to bare all after years of restrictions and rules regarding her clothing and appearance - with dad Jamie Spears even once imposing a no-bra ban in 2010.

"He hates the pictures of her with her nipples all over the place so he has banned her from leaving the house without a bra," a source claimed at the time, when Jamie had full control over his daughter’s life and finances.

The multi-award winning singer explained the reason behind her naked snaps in one post in August 2021.

She said that her nakedness is her ‘purest form’, that it makes her feel like the weight of the world is finally off her shoulders after years of pain and ‘heavy burdens’.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is the self-professed naked selfie queen and has broken the internet with her nude snaps on more than one occasion over the years.

The SKIMS founder, 41, has stripped off for magazine covers - including Playboy - and social media snaps since rising to fame in the early 00s, and has no plans to stop flashing the flash in the future.

As she won the first ever Break the Internet Award at The Webby Awards in 2016, the mum-of-four used the five-word speech limit to make a defiant statement to the haters.

"Nude selfies until I die," Kim proudly declared on stage as she collected her honour.

The aspiring lawyer has previously explained how she doesn’t intend for her sexy snaps to be anything but fun pictures.

"I don't do things to be like, "This is powerful. I'm going to show you guys that this is my 'message,'" she told Harper's Bazaar in 2016. "I'm not that type of person. I'm empowered by it, but I'm not doing it specifically to show power."

Emily Rajatakowski

Emily Rajatakowski burst onto the scene back in 2013 thanks to her topless appearance in the music video for Robin Thicke's hit single Blurred Lines.

Since then the stunning model has been candid about her sexuality and feminism, even going into depth about her relationship with her body for her debut book - a collection of essays titled, My Body.

Emily passionately defended pal Kim when the reality TV star posted what proved to be a controversial nude selfie on Instagram in March 2016, saying that women have the right to "express their sexuality and share their bodies however they choose".

"Certain women, no matter what, they get put into certain boxes more than men," the mum-of-one explained to Love Magazine in 2017.

"That was my box to deal with. It says so much about how much we don't like women in culture that if they show their bodies, they're vulgar, basically. It's either completely sexualized or its vulgar and gross. It's so bizarre."

Ulrika Jonsson and Kendall Jenner

Reality TV legend Kendall Jenner, 26, recently stunned fans when she posted a snap of her sunbathing wearing nothing but her baseball cap following her reported break-up with Devin Booker.

Fans were loving the timing of the photo, as did Ulrika Jonsson, who called the 'break-up post' a 'part of our recovery and part of our healing'.

The Celebs Go Dating star went on to copy Kendall's pose down to the green baseball cap, as she flashed her bum to her Instagram followers earlier this week.

Ulrika has previously admitted she doesn't care what her four children think of her body confident online social media posts.

She told The Sun in August 2021: "I don't give a f**k about them. This is my life. I've dedicated my life to them. Yes, there are probably times when they're unhappy, but they don't voice it anymore."

"I have more years behind me than I have in front of me, and I have shown more than my dedication to them and that will continue.

She added: "Sometimes, they go 'oh cringe'. but that's the role of the parent to embarrass the children."
