Fresh claims have emerged suggesting Prince Andrew may have had a closer relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell than previously known. The whispers about the Duke of York and the convicted sex trafficker are back in the spotlight thanks to a new book that dives into Andrew’s private life.
The book explores his long-standing connection to Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle and revisits the close bond he allegedly shared with Maxwell. It’s not the first time the pair’s relationship has raised eyebrows, but the renewed focus has stirred up plenty of speculation once again.
Paul Page, a former Royal protection officer, spoke out back in 2022 about what he and other Palace staff had observed during their time on duty. Page said there was a common belief among security personnel that something more personal was going on between the pair.
“From the way she was allowed to enter and exit the palace at will, we suspected that she might have had an intimate relationship with Prince Andrew,” he told ITV, The Mirror reported.
He added, “She was allowed to enter and exit the Palace night and day at will,” something that Page claimed was unusual and not the norm for visitors.
According to him, the pattern was so frequent and familiar that he and his fellow officers came to a clear conclusion. “Myself and my other colleagues formed the opinion they were in some sort of relationship,” he said.
These revelations are resurfacing just as Prince Andrew has reportedly been removed from the FBI’s list of individuals of interest in connection with Jeffrey Epstein. The timing has raised eyebrows, with some questioning whether the new book and ongoing media interest will reignite public scrutiny over the Duke’s past.
While Maxwell is now serving time for her role in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, her previous connections continue to pull high-profile names back into the headlines. Prince Andrew’s name has been tied to the scandal for years, and though he has consistently denied wrongdoing and reached a legal settlement with accuser Virginia Giuffre without admitting liability, public fascination with his ties to Epstein and Maxwell has never really faded.
The Duke of York has since stepped back from public duties and royal appearances, though he still retains his title and is occasionally spotted at family events.
