Fresh appeal to find yobs in Leeds United stand who threw missiles at Manchester United players as six suspects identified

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information relating to suspects involved with missile throwing incidents at a Leeds United game at Elland Road. Six suspects have been identified with four remaining.

The incident happened at a game between Leeds United and Manchester United at Elland Road on February 20, 2022. Police say Manchester United players were targeted in the incident.

Officers are trying to identify the four remaining suspects, highlighted in CCTV footage from home fans in the South Stand. Items were seen to be thrown in the direction of the visiting players as they celebrated a goal in the match.

Police are asking for information on the four remaining suspects (West Yorkshire Police)

West Yorkshire Police has asked that anyone who recognises the suspects contact Leeds District CID, quoting Operation Branchwood or alternatively you can quote the crime reference number 13220103288. They have also asked that reports include the relevant initial for the suspect.
