Freeths Leicester team relocates to new office space in same city buildings complex

Freeths law firm has relocated its Leicester office to new space in the same Colton Square buildings complex.

Leicester managing partner Mukesh Patel said the move would help the business adapt to more flexible ways of working and had followed a period of record growth.

He said: “With a focus on talent and our offering for both long-standing, new and prospective clients, the Leicester relocation to No 2 Colton Square opens up a pool of possibilities to broaden our services lines nationally.

“New equipment, working flexibly in ‘neighbourhoods’, café and social areas, new meeting room technology, quiet pods and breakout areas, helps offer a far more modern environment that’s well suited to our hybrid ways of working.

“This move is just one of many across our national offices and a result of a culmination of continued national success over the last few years.”

It comes two years after the national Freeths business announced an office shake-up following a successful year of “agile working” during the pandemic.

Back then the firm reviewed its 13-strong portfolio of offices – taking into account the efficiency of agile working and the preferences of employees and clients – and decided to close is Stoke office.

Staff at that office were dispersed to offices in either Birmingham, Manchester and Derby.

Last autumn Freeths announced the launch of a new office space at CEG’s Exchange Station in Liverpool.
