A range of free events are due to take place in Co Fermanagh and Co Tyrone to mark European Heritage Open Days which runs this week until Sunday September 12.
Among the attractions being offered is a "Take 5" tour of Enniskillen Castle, as well as a walking tour of the west end of Enniskillen.
On the Co Tyrone side of things, a talk on the musical history of Omagh is due to take place at the Strule Arts Centre in the town
The events are being organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.
A number of online events are also taking place to celebrate local heritage in Co Fermanagh, including a virtual jeep safari of Gortmaconnell.
Speaking about this year’s programme, Chair Errol Thompson said the open days were a great way for locals to learn more about their heritage.
Cllr Thompson added: “The Council is pleased to offer a range of free in person and online events as part of this year’s European Heritage Open Days.
“The programme has events to suit a range of age groups and interest and provide a great opportunity to discover and enjoy the area’s local heritage.”
More than 250 sites and properties are opening their doors to the public to host a number of online events and physical events across Northern Ireland for this year’s EHOD.
