Wenzel's is giving away free Strawberry Cheesecake Doughnuts to all customers with the names Greg and Gail today.
It’s the final day of their week-long promotion which is a playful nod to the high street competitors that are challenging the bakery brand.
With more than 100 locations throughout London and beyond, Wenzel's is one of the biggest bakery retailers in the United Kingdom. It was established 50 years ago by master baker Peter Wenzel.
The offer is being presented at all London stores.
The promotion also celebrates the debut of the bakery's new summer menu, which includes a variety of freshly prepared dishes influenced by popular dishes and contemporary culinary trends.
Updates to some of the bakery's best-selling dishes, sweet delicacies influenced by internet trends, and variations on traditional pastries are among the new offerings.
Sarah Wenzel, CEO of Wenzel’s, said: “At Wenzel’s, we’re always looking to stay ahead of the curve by keeping our range in tune with what our customers want using our tried and tested baking methods, which we’ve perfected across the course of our 50-year history.
“From responding to the Dubai Chocolate social media craze, to introducing classic pastries with a twist such as the Bacon and Cheese croissant, these new items are all about putting a smile on people’s faces with moreish ingredients and flavours.

The Strawberry Cheesecake Donut is part of the new menu. If your name isn’t Greg or Gail, don’t worry the new cheesecake donut will not hurt your bank, as it’s being sold at £2.50.
If the new donut doesn’t tickle your fancy, there is also the Pistachio & Hazelnut Crème Croisnut (£3.75) and a Dubai Desert Pot (£3.25) – created in response to the recent social media craze for Dubai Chocolate.
You also have other alternatives, including the Smores Cookie Sandwich (£2.95) and White Biscoff Donut (£2.50).
