Frederick's launches new ice cream for Queen's Platinum Jubilee and customers are all saying the same thing

If you're an ice cream lover then you'll no doubt have heard of Frederick's. The family-fun run business makes luxury Italian ice cream that attracts customers from far and wide.

While long queues regularly form outside its cafe on the A6 in Chorley, it's sold at other places too - like at The Pavilion in Mesnes Park, Wigan. It was there that we travelled to sample its newest creation, made especially for the Queen's Jubilee.

It won't be around forever, but for now you can get it in store and in one-litre takeaway tubs.

You can get all sorts of toppings for your ice creams too, from mini eggs and fudge flake, to sherbet and crushed Maltesers.
