Freddy Brazier’s dispute with his ex-girlfriend Holly Swinburn has reportedly intensified amid concerns that she is smoking while pregnant.
The son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody is expecting his first child with Swinburn and has been urging her to stop for the sake of their baby, according to The Sun.
The pair, who recently split, have been locked in an increasingly public row.
Last week, the 21-year-old issued a furious response after Swinburn accused him of taking part in drug-fuelled parties with other women, allegations he has denied and called “sick”.
A source told the publication: “Freddy hates the fact Holly is smoking while pregnant. He wants her to give it up for the sake of their unborn baby.
“It’s a constant row between them. Freddy will throw it in Holly’s face, but she always has an excuse. She even claims she’s spoken to her midwife about it.”
A representative for Brazier declined to comment when approached by The Standard.
Swinburn has spoken publicly about their relationship, describing living with Brazier as “a nightmare,” and saying she now intends to focus on raising her child alone.
Earlier this month, the 22-year-old alleged that the split followed Brazier hosting a party at her flat while she was on holiday with her family and did not care for her dog, Pablo, a puppy he had gifted her earlier in the summer.
Last week, Brazier pushed back at the accusations, reportedly telling friends the claims are entirely fabricated.
According to the Daily Mail, he is believed to have insisted to pals: “No orgy has been had in our flat. It certainly wasn’t some sort of drug party either, we did go up to our flat and had a spliff and that’s it, and then I told everyone it was time to go.
“One of my mates left his ID there so she seems to think there was a whole deeper thing going on, but actually we smoked a joint and then they all left.”
He added that the situation has already escalated.
“She’s already talking about doing something else, another interview or speaking out again,” he claimed. “It’s only a matter of time before she does, she has told me this already this week. The things she’s saying could cost me work, and damage my relationship with my child when they’re born.”
Swinburn, who has said she intends to raise the baby alone, claimed in her interview that Freddy’s father, Jeff Brazier, had taken her side.
The Race Across The World star strongly rejected this, saying: “I don’t like that Dad is apparently taking Holly’s side.”
The turmoil comes amid a difficult period for the Brazier.
Last month, TV presenter Jeff confirmed he and his wife Kate Dwyer quietly ended their marriage over the summer after realising they “couldn’t make each other happy”.
In a candid post shared on social media, he described the past year as “painful and complex” and spoke about the pressures the family has faced, including difficult periods in his relationship with Freddy.
