Fred Willard dies aged 86: Anchorman and Everybody Loves Raymond star dead

Anchorman and Everybody Loves Raymond star Fred Willard has died aged 86.

His agent Michael Eisenstadt confirmed the sad news and said the actor died of natural causes on Friday night.

His daughter Hope Mulbarger paid a loving tribute to her father as she lamented her family would "miss him forever", reports Mirror Online.

In a glowing message, the actor's daughter spoke fondly of how her father was always "moving, working and making" everyone happy until he died.

She said in a statement: “My father passed away very peacefully last night at the fantastic age of 86 years old.

"He kept moving, working and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much! We will miss him forever.”

Fred's acting career spanned over 50 years, making him a very recognisable face.

The actor turned his hand at any role as he nailed acting as an art form and appeared in genres from cartoons to comedies, soaps to sitcoms.

He was most well known for his roles in Anchorman, Wall-E and Everybody Loves Raymond.
