Henrikh Mkhitaryan's desire to prove himself will help him adapt to life in Serie A with Roma.
That's the view of club legend Francesco Totti who has hailed the decision to sign the former Manchester United man.
Mkhitaryan has endured a difficult time of late after failing to show his true quality during 18 months at the Emirates Stadium.
The Armenian was used as a makeweight in the deal which took Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, but the midfielder never really got himself started in north London.
The decision was made to allow him to move abroad in an attempt to rejuvenate his career and Totti says that he think the Roma fans will certainly have his back.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, he said: "Mkhitaryan can bring quality and quantity, so it’s a good move.
"He hasn’t always played regularly over the last two years at Arsenal, but I hope he can feel at home at Roma.
“The fans will certainly appreciate him here, as he has great technique and is eager to prove himself.”
