Four stabbed and slashed in Paisley street gang clash

Four men were stabbed and slashed during a street riot in Paisley in the early hours of this morning.

The victims, aged 28, 26, 20 and 18, were injured when two weapon-wielding gangs clashed in Ferguslie Park.

Detectives sealed off a large area of ground at the top of Ferguslie Park Avenue and the railway underpass leading to Millarston Drive.

The violent rammy broke out between two armed groups at around 2.50am.

Four men were taken to hospital for treatment to stab and slash wounds but the Paisley Daily Express understands the disturbance involved more armed yobs.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed they are investigating the incident.
