The January transfer window might be closed, but rumours are never far away when it comes to Manchester City.
The Blues of course added to their on deadline day, with Julian Alvarez’s signing confirmed late on in the window as the Argentine gets ready to move to the Etihad in the summer.
And City will no doubt be eyeing up some more players to go alongside him during the off-season, with some big names being linked with transfers to Pep Guardiola’s side.
Here are four of the names being tipped with a move to City in the summer transfer window.
Erling Haaland 6/4 (Grosvenor)
The Borussia Dortmund superstar is set to dominate the headlines in the summer transfer window as speculation continues over his future.
Haaland’s release clause with the Bundesliga club comes into effect at the end of the current season, and there’s no shortage of clubs vying for his signature.
Europe’s elite have all been linked, but the latest odds on where Haaland will be come the end of the summer transfer window make for great reading for City fans.
The Blues are priced up as the current favourites at 6/4, with Paris Saint-Germain close behind at 3/1, while Manchester United and Real Madrid are both at 4/1.
Declan Rice 6/1 (SkyBet)
Rice has established himself as one of the Premier League’s biggest stars over the past year, and at just 23, there’s still plenty of time for him to improve even further.
Plenty of speculation surrounds his future, with West Ham slapping a hefty £100million price tag on their prize asset.
With Fernandinho looking likely to move on this summer, City will likely be in the market for a replacement.
To that end, they’ve been priced up at 6/1 to land Rice, the same as United, although it’s Chelsea who are the current favourites at 4/1.
Raphinha 10/1 (SkyBet)
The Leeds star has emerged as a possible target for City as speculation continues over his future at Elland Road.
Raphinha has been heavily linked with City’s title rivals Liverpool, and it’s the Reds who are the favourites to land the Brazilian in the summer 7/1.
The Blues find themselves at 10/1, the same price as United, Real Madrid and West Ham, with Bayern Munich ranked as second favourites at 9/1.
A lot could depend on Marcelo Bielsa’s future in Yorkshire, and there will be plenty of interested eyes on Elland Road this summer.
Paul Pogba 20/1 (SkyBet)
Now this one would cause quite a stir.
Pogba looks highly likely to leave United for a second time this summer, with his contract expiring at the end of the current season and no indicators he looks likely to extend his stay.
Moves between the two Manchester clubs are rare, and when they do happen, it tends to cause a bit of a storm, as seen with Carlos Tevez back in 2009.
City are seen as firm outsiders for Pogba’s signature at 20/1, with PSG the favourites at 2/1, while Juventus (3/1), Real Madrid (4/1) and Newcastle (9/1) aren’t too far behind, but it would be quite the story if the Frenchman were to move across Manchester.
