Four people were arrested in Dublin for deception offences as part of a garda investigation on Monday morning.
The arrests came following a probe into compensation claims made following an alleged fraudulent road traffic collision in 2015.
The four people are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at separate garda stations in Dublin.

A garda spokeswoman confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
