Four people have been arrested in connection with antisocial behaviour in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park.
Police say the arrests were made during patrols on Saturday in the popular park in the city's west end.
Officers confirmed that one person was reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with drugs offences and one man was arrested in connection with a breach of bail.
Two men, aged 20, were also charged in connection with a large disturbance at the popular park on Friday evening.
The news comes as Glasgow City Council revealed that more than 400 'groups and individuals' were refused entry to the popular Kelvingrove Park with cops and council wardens stationed at the gates.
Chief Inspector Scott McCarren, of Greater Glasgow Division, explained that Police Scotland’s approach throughout the pandemic has been to engage with the public, explain the legislation and encourage compliance.
He added that officers will only use enforcement powers as a last resort.
He said: "The vast majority of people enjoy our beautiful green spaces responsibly and I welcome their continued support, but the small minority who intend spoiling it for others will be targeted and dealt with effectively.
"We continue to work closely with the council and other key partners in preventing and tackling these issues, both in the immediate future and long-term."
