Of course, not much can be said about the credibility of this leak. After all, it is a leak. However, the release date in the tweet aligns with the release window of Forza Horizon 6. The screenshot looks like promotional material for the game. It’s not uncommon for developers to promote an upcoming game in old games. But, this is the only current report of this popup in-game.
What Does The Leak Say
The screenshot promotes the benefits of pre-ordering Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition. By pre-ordering, you are going to get a lot of different stuff in the game. Among these is Early Access. The screenshot shows that by pre-ordering the game, you get to play the game 4 days early on May 15, which tells us that Forza Horizon 6 will be released on May 19th.
Of course, this is just a leak, and nothing is confirmed. But, an insider did confirm that Forza Horizon 6 will release in the early half of 2026, so basically before July. The release date from the screenshot aligns with this news, which makes this leak seem a bit more credible.
We will have to wait for the upcoming Developer Direct, which was confirmed to have an in-depth showcase of Forza Horizon 6, including the gameplay, map, and new features. We are also very likely to get a confirmed release date. For now, the release date in the leak does sound true, given how it aligns with Xbox’s planned release window.
