Fortnite has a brand new suite of weekly challenges to tackle this morning. It’s Season 9′s ninth week, and as the season draws to a close, there are only a couple weeks left for players to nab the Tier 100 skin, Vendetta. (As of this writing I’m on Tier 98 with just one third of one challenge left to complete for the season—prior to this week’s batch, that is).
One of the more interesting challenges this week tasks players with visiting various Solar Arrays across the game’s huge map. In this guide, we’ll take a look at where to visit a Solar Array in the Jungle, a new biome added in the pirate-themed Season 8.
The future-themed Season 9 is almost over, and Season 10 is looming. There’s a monster on the loose and a giant robot under construction. What comes next is anybody’s guess.
In any case, here’s where to find the Solar Array in the Jungle, way up at the top of the map:
As you can see, it’s just to the east of the sulfur springs and just north of the volcano:
Simply land, drive or walk your way to this Solar Array to complete one third of this challenge.

I just hope Epic keeps adding more of these Solar Arrays to the map. It would be great if solar, wind and steam could power the entire fictional game world. It would be even better if those things could power our actual world, but we’re still a long ways off from that lofty (and necessary) goal.
