Former Rangers flop striker Cedric Itten has reportedly won a dream move to the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen despite being relegated to the German third tier.
The Swiss international hitman scored just six league goals for Rangers in 33 appearances, although only eight of those were starts, after signing for the Ibrox side six years ago in a £2.7 million move.
He returned to his Swiss home at Young Boys in 2022 before spending a season at Fortuna Dusseldorf in Bundesliga 2.

But despite Itten netting an impressive 16 goals in 32 appearances, he couldn't prevent them from being relegated.
However, the 29-year-old - who has been named in the Swiss World Cup squad - is now thought to have secured a surprise move back to Germany's top flight with Werder Bremen.
Itten does have experience of the Bundesliga after Rangers loaned him to Greuther Furth, but they were also relegated.
