A former North East paramedic turned singer-songwriter, called LN, has shone the spotlight on those who are less fortunate than herself via a new single Lonely Christmas.
The one-time front-line NHS worker is now pursuing a full-time career in music. LN is releasing the song in aid of NEH North-East Homeless to raise funds for those who find themselves without shelter or sustenance. The charity in question is a cause close to the artist's heart.
LN said: "It breaks my heart to know there are people alone, cold and on the streets at Christmas, without food or a safe place to sleep. So, I decided to write a song and use the money raised to give to North East Homeless, so they can supply those in need with warm clothes, food, and a safe, warm place to stay for the night.”

If festive music is traditionally joyful or celebratory, the poignant and thought-provoking lyrics of Lonely Christmas highlight the fact that not everyone has the same experience during the holiday season. “Christmas is not a joyful time for everyone, so if I can do my bit to make it, even the tiniest bit better, it'll be worth it,” said LN.

Lonely Christmas received its exclusive World Premiere on the Breakfast Club on Hard Rock Hell Radio on Tuesday, 13th December, and was fully released via digital streaming platforms on Friday, 16th December. It is available at this link: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/ln10/lonely-christmas
Lonely Christmas illustrates the versatility of LN’s music. The song also showcases a different change of pace to the artist's songwriting - although you can expect the creative musician’s Viking/Norse Metal roots to return with her upcoming releases in 2023.
Since LN’s project was born, the Tyneside musician has been championed by Nick Roberts on BBC Introducing at Radio Newcastle, along with Hard Rock Hell Radio. On the live front, LN made her debut headline appearance at the Surf Cafe in Tynemouth and concluded her 2022 live activity with a support slot alongside rock troubadour Cam Cole in Newcastle.
Lonely Christmas follows off the back of LN's first two singles Hangman's Son and Asylum. Each of the releases forms the basis of a trilogy of singles which will be completed in the New Year.
Next year, LN and her band will resume their live activities on January 29 with a show supporting Crowley at the Anarchy Brew Company in Newcastle. For further details on LN, including up-to-date live listings, visit: https://linktr.ee/LNmusic
Lonely Christmas, the new single from LN, is available on digital streaming platforms, including here on Spotify.
