Former Man United ace Rio Ferdinand names three teams who will definitely finish in the top four

Rio Ferdinand believes that Manchester United are a shoo-in to finish in the top four this season after Sunday's victory over West Ham.

United beat their former boss David Moyes' side 1-0 at Old Trafford thanks to a Marcus Rashford header. His winner would also be significant on a personal level for the striker, with the goal marking his 100th for the club.

It would end up being far from plain sailing for United towards the end of the clash, with the home side having to rely on some brilliant David de Gea saves to protect their lead. The result keeps United within touching distance of the Champions League spots, with the current top four sides in the league all winning over the weekend.

Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, the former defender said: "It’ll be Arsenal, Man City and Man United, [they] are the three ones I’d put my house on now. And then the fourth one I can’t pick.

"Newcastle could come in and take it." The Reds are currently fifth in the table, a point behind Eddie Howe's men and three behind Tottenham Hotspur, but both Spurs and Newcastle have played a game more than Erik ten Hag's side.
