Nick Chubb, the former Georgia football great and running back for the Cleveland Browns, had a solid day of practice Sunday in training camp.
The second-year star took the opening play for a significant gain before coaches blew their whistles. Of course, it likely would have been a touchdown for Chubb, had the play not been called dead.
The Cedartown native has been impressive so far during his second training camp with the Browns and is poised to take on a bigger role this season before former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt comes back from an 8-game suspension.
Chubb and the Browns open their preseason on August 8th against the Washington Redskins before kicking the regular season off September 8th vs. the Tennessee Titans.
