An actress who was a fans' favourite in both Emmerdale and The Bill is the daughter of an award-winning and chart-topping pop-star.
Trudie Goodwin played Georgia Sharm in the hit ITV soap between 2011 and 2015.
However, she is probably better known for playing Sergeant June Ackland in the long-running crime drama The Bill from 1984 until 2007.

And her daughter is enjoying similar success, albeit in a different field, reports Leeds Live.
Trudie, 69, is the mum of La Roux lead singer, 33 year-old Elly Jackson.
The band, who Elly formed with record producer Ben Langmaid, rose to fame back in 2009 with songs such as In For The Kill and Bulletproof.
La Roux scored a number two in the charts with their self-titled debut album and bagged a number one single with the release of Bulletproof.
To date, La Roux have released three studio albums, with the most recent, Supervision, being released in February last year.
Down the years, the group has received award nominations for the Mercury Prize, the Brits and Ivor Novello amongst others.
Mum Trudie was a popular addition to the Emmerdale cast but it is another ITV show where she initially made her name.
Police drama The Bill came to an end in 2010 but there are plans in place for it to return later this year.
Trudie, alongside Graham Cole and Mark Wingett, will be one of the three acting stars due to return to the programme.
Elsewhere, Trudie has enjoyed parts in Heartbeat, Casualty and Moving On.
