Former Celtic star Scott Sinclair and Helen Flanagan put wedding plans on hold

Ex- Celtic ace Scott Sinclair and long-term partner Helen Flanagan have postponed their wedding.

The pair, who have been together for a decade, have put their plans on hold as Helen’s younger sister is set to tie the knot next summer.

Helen and Scott got engaged in 2018 and were planning on getting married in 2020.

But in an interview with the Express, Helen said they've decided to put their nuptials on hold.

Although their wedding plans have been temporarily shelved, the former Coronation Street star said that they ‘already feel like they’re married’.

She said: “Me and Scott have been together for 10 years, since forever.

“I know this sounds weird but, because we’ve got children and have been together for so long, we already feel like we’re married.

“We were going to get married this year but my little sister is getting married next summer, so maybe next year.

“I think it’s just because we’ve been together for so long, we’re just a bit lazy about it.

“But, it would be nice to have the same name.”

Helen went on to express her eagerness to have more children with the now Preston North End striker.

The couple currently have two daughters together, four-year-old Matilda and Delilah, who is one.

She added: “I would really love more children.

“I’ve always said four but that will probably be too much, so I’ll say three.

“When you have two children, you just love them equally.

“I would love a girl or boy as long as they’re healthy, you’re just lucky to carry a baby aren’t you.”
