It’s going to be a privilege to be invited into the homes of ITV Calendar viewers, and I’m sure there will be lots of fun to be had along the way too. I love this part of the world and I’m looking forward to meeting our viewers when I’m out and about.”

Ian’s work in television began when he worked for TV-am in Newcastle. His career at the BBC spanned almost 30 years starting in Norwich, followed by BBC Radio Leeds and then BBC Look North. He presented his final BBC Look North bulletin last month.
