Forensic teams comb Kirkcaldy house and garden in 'pre-planned' police operation

Forensic teams have been spotted combing a house and garden in Kirkcaldy in a "pre-planned operation".

Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service and forensic officers are currently in attendance at Lismore Avenue.

Around six officers in white suits can be seen in a back garden and at the front of a property on the street.

Three police vans, a police car and an ambulance are currently parked outside.

Four unmarked police vehicles are also believed to be in attendance. It is unclear at this moment what the 'pre-planned' operation is but officers have said it is currently ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that officers are currently carrying out a pre-planned operation at an address in Lismore Avenue, Kirkcaldy.

"Enquiries are ongoing at this time.”
