Football Manager 26 releases tomorrow, but the modding community is already active and in full swing. We talked about the problem with the newgen faces in the game and how modders already have a fix for it, but now people are coming up with more creative enhancements. A modder by the name of Arthur Ray recently showed off a First-Person POV Camera mod for the game, and it is fantastic.
POV Camera Mod Features And How To Install

In terms of features, this is a pretty simple mod that lets you watch matches from the perspective of your manager. While the first-person view is pretty impressive on its own, you can also switch to a first-person view of any of your players, including the goalkeeper. Switching between players and the managers is as simple as pressing a button.
The control scheme relies on the function row on your keyboard. Pressing F1 gives you the default FM camera, F2 switches to a first-person view of the active player, and F5 gives you the first-person view of the manager from the dugout. You can switch between players by pressing F3 (previous player) and F4 (next player). While it may not necessarily be the “best” way to watch the game, having these options does make the whole experience more immersive.
To install the mod, download the compressed file from the FMScout website. Extract the .rar file with something like 7-Zip or WinRAR, and paste all the files in your game’s directory. Click on “replace all files” to finish the installation. The process is similar for Mac, though your game directory will be in a different location, and you’ll have to use an app like The Unarchiver to extract the files. If you want more specific instructions, just check out the FMScout link above.
As the mod is basic and doesn’t overwrite any major files, it shouldn’t break the game or cause any sort of glitches. However, with every mod, there is a chance of bugs, so just be sure you know what you’re doing before you run to install it.
