Footage shows the moment a boy was bottled over the head and others tackled to the ground by police officers after a mass brawl broke out in Edinburgh Meadows on Saturday night.
Huge groups flocked to the park yesterday to enjoy the good weather but scenes soon turned nasty as people began to fight each other.
At the start of the clip one boy can be seen going up to another and kicking him before other fights break out.
As punches are thrown others intervene to try and break up one assault before one man picks up a bottle and starts hitting someone on the ground with it.
From the footage it is unclear whether the bottle is plastic or glass.
A yob in a grey hoodie can then be seen smashing a glass bottle over someones head before the victim begins to stumble. He appears to have blood on his neck after the vicious attack.
Police officers can then be seen intervening and tackling people to the ground.
We told earlier of how officers condemned the chaos as thousands descended on the Meadows this weekend.
A 22-year-old man was attacked around 7.30pm in the Middle Meadow Walk area while a 17-year-old man was seriously injured in the park around 6.40pm.
A police officer was also reportedly attacked trying to break up a fight and had to be taken to hospital, according to the Police Federation.
Three people have so far been charged in connection with anti-social behaviour and a serious assault but cops are still searching for others involved 'in various incidents'.
Officers are urging anyone with information concerning the disorder on Saturday to come forward.
