Cedric: Linked up well with Pepe. Proved that he is adequate back-up for Hector Bellerin and more than capable of contributing to the attack and defence. 7.
Luiz: Only played the first half before coming off with an injury. 6.
Mustafi: Decent performance and wore the captain's armband in the second half when Lacazette came off. 6.
Maitland-Niles: Lost every one on one duel in the first half and his rustiness would have been exploited by a more clinical opponent. 6.
Xhaka: Distributed the ball well between the lines and came off for Ceballos in the second half. 6.
Willock: Two assists. After a disappointing performance against Leeds the youngster reminded Arteta where his best position is. 8.
Nelson: Excellent cross for Nketiah in first half who returned the favour after the break with a superb goal. Will be hopeful of starting against Wolves on Sunday. 8.
Pepe: Tried so hard throughout the first half. Came close with a curling effort in second half well saved by the goalkeeper. Hit the post and scored a minute later with an excellent strike. Redemption complete. 7
Nketiah: Assist for Nelson and an accomplished performance overall. 7.
Lacazette: Looked frustrated for much of the game but almost scored on 65 minutes when his effort was well saved. Substituted shortly after. 6.

Balogun: Immediate impact. Scored his first goal for Arsenal seconds after coming on. The first of many as he continues talks with the club over a contract extension. 8.
