Floyd Mayweather confirms boxing match with KSI's Youtuber brother Deji

Floyd Mayweather and Deji are set to battle on the 13th of November.

A fight between the undefeated great of boxing and the Youtuber has been rumoured in recent weeks.

But it has finally been confirmed and will take place in a little over six weeks time.

Reacting to the news, Deji posted "You're not ready for this one" on his social media accounts.

Mayweather has taken to fighting in exhibition contests in recent years and hasn't fought a professional fight since he defeated Conor McGregor by TKO in 2017. Rumours of a rematch with McGregor persist, but Mayweather will have at least one fight before the old foes face-off.

The 45-year-old, who boasts a pristine 50-0 professional record, last took to the ring for an exhibition contest just a day ago, when he defeated MMA star Mikuru Asakura by TKO.

For the uninitiated, Deji is the brother of Youtube royalty KSI and is an extremely popular YouTuber in his own right. The 25-year-old has a massive social media following and has accumulated over 15 million combined followers through Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

Deji is a part of the generation of YouTubers that also fancies themselves as professional fighters. Just like KSI and the two Paul brothers, Jake and Logan, Deji has laced up a pair of gloves and taken on fellow YouTubers.

His fight history to date isn't one that should instill too much fear into Mayweather. In his three fights as an amateur, Deji lost by TKO to Jake Paul and Vinnie Hacker before losing by decision to Alex Wassabi earlier this year.

But just last month, Deji got his first win in his professional debut against Fousey.

Mayweather on the other hand is undefeated in his 50 professional fights, has fought all time greats like Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez.

The fight will take place in Dubai, and more information on the event will be announced in due course.
