Heavy rain and snow is causing widespread disruption across Ayrshire's road network this afternoon.
The worst of the flooding has been reported on the A78, with the road between Ardrossan and Seamill among the most badly affected.
Drivers have reported seeing road signs "floating about" in the water.
Conditions at the Waterside are reported to be treacherous for those trying to pass.
It comes with weather warnings in place for much of the west of Scotland and the central belt over the coming hours.
The M77 bore the brunt of blizzard-like conditions last night.
