Footage has shown a fire engulfing part of a block of flats in the south side of Glasgow last night.
The blaze occurred at around 9pm yesterday (Saturday, September 25) at the building on Shawhill Road, forcing a number of residents to be evacuated.
Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly afterwards, with firefighters later extinguishing the blaze. One man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation following the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “Around 9.05pm on Saturday, 25 September, police and emergency services were called to a fire at a block of flats on Shawhill Road in Glasgow.
“Residents from a number of the surrounding properties were evacuated as a precaution and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
“One man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.”
