Five masked men attack Jewish man after they ‘heard him speaking Hebrew’

• A 22-year-old Jewish man was allegedly attacked by five masked men in Golders Green, north London, after being heard speaking Hebrew on the phone.
• The assault occurred at 2am on Monday, 18 May, outside his apartment, resulting in injuries to his neck, back, and face.
• The Metropolitan Police are treating the incident as an antisemitic hate crime and confirmed officers attended within six minutes of being called.
• No arrests have been made at this stage, and police enquiries are continuing into the incident.
• The Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) reported the assailants shouted abuse in Arabic and called for urgent action against the wave of violence targeting Jewish people.
