Johnny Depp’s home targeted in latest LA trespassing incident: report

Johnny Depp’s home has become the site of the latest reported celebrity trespassing incident.

The Los Angeles Police Department was called to the home Tuesday at around 4 p.m. after a female suspect repeatedly visited the home in West Hollywood and loitered by the front gate, TMZ reported. Sources said the person tried to leave a message for Depp and was seen filming the property.

By the time LAPD arrived on the scene, the suspect had left and no arrests were made.

It is not clear whether the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 62, was at the property during the incident.

Depp’s home has been the site of trespassing before. In 2021, a homeless man reportedly jumped a fence, drank Depp’s liquor and was found showering in his bathroom. The man was subsequently arrested and charged with vandalism.

A representative for Depp declined to comment when reached by The Independent.

There have been a number of trespassing incidents in Los Angeles in recent months. In April, former child star Dylan Sprouse and his wife Barbara Palvin opened up about their experience tackling and restraining an intruder.

According to reports, LAPD received a 911 call from Palvin, 32, about an attempted burglary at the couple’s home.

Sprouse, 33, tackled and restrained the suspect until police arrived, according to TMZ. Sources also told the outlet that the actor held the intruder at gunpoint before tackling him.

Asked about the incident at the New York premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2, Palvin — married to Sprouse since 2023 — told Access Hollywood that they are “dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun.”

“We’re laughing about things the moment they happen,” Sprouse added. “You got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt and there was no more violence than what happened. So, it’s all okay.”

The former Disney Channel star, who played Zack Martin on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, went on to joke that “there was a lot of karate involved.”

“It was a very unfortunate situation,” Palvin continued, “and I’m just happy that we’re here and we can get this night — distraction — [with] everyone safe.”

Police confirmed to The Los Angeles Times that the suspect was arrested and taken in on outstanding warrants.

Authorities clarified that the trespasser did not make it inside the couple’s home, only onto the property.

Sources told TMZ that Sprouse and Palvin did not want the alleged intruder booked for trespassing.
