A LARGE emergency response has been triggered after a fire broke out at a row of houses, with large smoke billowing in the air.
Five fire appliances, including a specialist high-reach appliance, were sent to Blackhill Road in the Summerston area of Glasgow after reports of a "dwelling fire" just before 8pm on Wednesday, May 20.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call reporting a dwelling fire at 7.48pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
"We dispatched four fire appliances and one special high-reach appliance to the scene.
"We left at 12:52 am and there have been no injuries or casualties."
No information has yet been provided on the cause of the fire or whether anyone has been injured.
It comes just a day after another fire broke out at a block of flats in Dundasvale Court, in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow.
