Five people have been charged over a brawl in Sydney's west that left a teenage boy dead.

The 17-year-old died on Wednesday night after being fatally stabbed, following reports of a brawl involving several people on a Blacktown street.

Police turned up to find several people with stab wounds including two 15-year-old boys. They were taken to hospital, where one remains in a critical condition and the other in a serious condition.

A 13-year-old boy was also taken to hospital.

Police have charged five people aged between 17 and 21.

The 21-year-old man was charged with several offences including affray, driving a motor vehicle with a suspended licence and breaching COVID-19 rules.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Friday.

Three of the 17-year-olds were charged with affray and not complying with directions regarding COVID-19.

One will appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Friday, while the other two have court dates later in the year.

The fourth 17-year-old was charged with breach of bail and is also due to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Friday.

Police are urging anyone with information including dash cam or CCTV footage from the area to come forward.
