First time mums and dads-to-be wanted for Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway

Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is looking for people to take part in the new series of the ITV show.

And it’s expectant mums and dads-to-be that are especially needed for an audience segment for the series, which is due to be screened in 2020, according to the Birmingham Mail .

A spokesman for the show said: "Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is back and we want to hear from you!

"Are you an expectant first-time mum who is due to give birth in November or December?

"Is your partner currently puzzled by parenthood? Do they need to step up for the new arrival? Would you like to put them to the test and surprise them on the show?"

The new series will see the return of Ant McPartlin to the Saturday night programme after two years to re-join his on-screen buddy Declan Donnelly.

In January Ant returned to work with Dec on Britain's Got Talent, almost a year since he stepped down from his presenting duties in April 2018 following a drink-driving conviction.
