First Table - Edinburgh restaurant booking service can get you 50% off your bill

Booking a table early at popular restaurants could land you a huge discount, as a new website launches in Edinburgh.

First Table are already running in Glasgow, Dublin and London and is coming to the Scottish capital soon.

For a £5 booking fee, you can get a meal half price if you book the first table of the evening at participating restaurants.

They say: "First Table is a website that offers a 50% discount off restaurant meals at specific times.

A new 'gourmet' doner kebab shop is coming to Lothian Road in Edinburgh soon 

"Diners pay a £5 booking fee to secure the discount at a participating restaurant, and get half-price meals for two to four people when booking the restaurant’s first table of the evening."

It's described as a "restaurant discovery platform", and benefits restaurants by encouraging early diners.

You can sign up here ahead of First Table's launch in Edinburgh. Signing up early will get you £2.50 credit once the scheme launches.
