The Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans released their first injury reports of the week on Wednesday. Every player practiced in some capacity for Kansas City, but Houston had a whopping 10 players listed as non-participants.

- Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was listed on the injury report with a foot injury last week. He remains on the injury report this week with an injury to his right hand. That’d be his throwing hand. He practiced in full, which suggests this is something minor. It’s still worth monitoring.
- Reid has been adamant that there were no new injuries but a few new names did pop up on the report today. Nazeeh Johnson was limited with a hamstring injury. Justin Reid has a new shoulder injury and JuJu Smith-Schuster has a toe injury, but both players practiced in full.

- Two former Chiefs popped up on the injury report for the Texans. Recently claimed DL Taylor Stallworth was limited and former Chiefs draft pick Steven Nelson was a non-participant.
- Some very big names for the Texans were non-participants on Wednesday including RB Dameon Pierce, WR Brandin Cooks, LT Laremy Tunsil, CB Derek Stingly Jr. and WR Nico Collins.
