First Dates' Cici Coleman shows off weight loss amid role away from show

First Dates star Cici Coleman has shared pictures of her impressive weight loss transformation as she urged her followers to "trust in the process".

The TV waitress uploaded before and after pictures taken just three months apart, revealing a dramatic difference. Cici encouraged followers to keep persevering when undertaking lifestyle changes after finally seeing results she was happy with.

The 35-year-old, who is also a fitness coach, offered her thousands of followers some health advice, the Daily Star reports.

Cici posed in two bikinis in the snaps, while also sharing her previous frustrations along the way. Captioning the post on Instagram, she said: "Weight loss is not linear. There are so many factors as to why the scales can vary so much week to week," revealing that things such as hormones, stress and water retention can take their toll.

"You have got to trust in the process," as she shared the ups and downs of her own weight loss journey, describing the two phases - rapid and slow.

Cici added: "'Crash diets' never last. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, patience and consistency is needed. Patience and consistency are two significant ingredients to keep you on track."

Earlier this year, Cici credited a change in diet as the reason behind her weight loss, revealing she had seen results without even going into the gym.

She wrote: "I didn't want my weight loss journey to take over my life; I've been there in the past, and it was just soooo boring. I wanted to live whilst creating long-term healthy habit changes. I have tried to incorporate a new healthy habit each week, from 10k steps daily, celery juicing, to reducing my sugar intake.

"These things alone haven't dropped my kgs, but they have helped get my mindset right. Small habit changes can make a big difference to your overall health and well-being."
