Firefighters have rushed to a major blaze in Glasgow's south side this evening.
Pictures from the scene show smoke blowing across the city, with reports that the fire is coming from the Shields Road and Scotland Street area in Kinning Park.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they are attending the scene of the ongoing fire.
A spokeswoman for the service said: "We have received calls about a fire in the area of Glasgow's south side.
"Crews are on the route to the scene now."
Update: Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames last night, according to the Scottish Fire and Rescue.
A spokeswoman for the service confirmed that the blaze was defeated at around 8.40pm last night.
She added that there had been no casualties.
