Fire damages two homes in suspected arson attack in Barry

Two homes were damaged in a suspected arson attack in Barry.

The fire was started on Clos Tear shortly after 3am on Sunday, May 31. It caused damage to the fencing and gardens of two neighbouring homes as well as to the doors of the houses.

Nobody was injured in the fire which South Wales Police believe was started deliberately.

What to do in a fire

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at that time to contact them.

They also want to hear from anyone in the area who has CCTV or dash cam footage which may assist the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number 2000189759
