Fire crews race to Govan to tackle house fire

Emergency services raced to Govan yesterday afternoon as flames engulfed a residential property.

Two fire crews scrambled to the scene on Kincraig Street at 4.37pm (Sunday, April 19) after hearing reports that a blaze had taken hold of the building.

There are no reports of any injuries.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said yesterday: "We are currently in attendance at the scene of a house fire on Kincraig Street, Glasgow, after the alarm was raised at 4.37pm.

"Two appliances were dispatched, and crews remain at the scene."
